Job Title: Part•Time Inpatient Physical Therapist • Day Shift
Job Summary:
Join our Rehab Services team as an Inpatient Physical Therapist. This role involves patient evaluation, treatment planning, and supervision of support personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct rehabilitative programs for patients with physical limitations.
• Collaborate and communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Document patient progress and care data.
• Instruct patients in exercises, ambulation, and daily living activities.
• Maintain department cleanliness and equipment.
• Participate in department meetings and in•services.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and technicians.
• Contribute to department growth and program development.
• Promote efficient use of resources and supplies.
• Provide age•specific patient care based on data interpretation and knowledge.
Additional Functions:
• Provide physical therapy services in other inpatient rehab areas as needed.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of Physical Therapy Program.
• State license holder.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to build good relationships with patients of various physical disabilities.
• English proficiency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS Provider•American Heart Association or Professional Rescuer•American Red Cross) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training required within 6 months of hire.
