Job Title: Corrections • Patient Care Technician (PCT) • Days
Join our team in Huntsville as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for day shifts (0545 to 1815), working 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient care under a registered nurse's supervision
• Assist with patient assessments and care activities
• Document patient interactions
Requirements:
• Active BLS certification
• Active C.N.A license or PCT experience
• 1.5 years of experience in the highest license held
• Experience in LTAC, acute care, Med Surg/ED, or similar
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Thick skinned and independent
Additional Information:
• Advance notice of next month's schedule
• Overtime eligibility based on performance
• May need to float to units within a 50•mile radius
• COVID•19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted)
Refusal to float or divert is a DNR. Work week is Saturday to Friday. Block booking required by the 20th for the following 4 weeks.
