**Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Nights • Corrections**
Join our team as an LVN for night shifts in a Huntsville, Texas correctional facility, providing vital healthcare within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
**Responsibilities:**
• Provide nursing care and administer medications.
• Perform IV therapy and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Adapt to a fast•paced environment and manage tasks efficiently.
• Float between units within a 10•30 minute radius as needed.
**Schedule:**
• Night shifts: 5:00 PM • 5:30 AM or 5:45 PM • 6:15 AM.
• 36/48•hour weekly rotation with advance scheduling.
• Overtime opportunities based on performance.
**Qualifications:**
• Valid Compact or Texas LVN license.
• BLS and IV Therapy Certification.
• 2 years LVN experience, 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg preferred.
• Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a correctional setting.

• Orientation provided after credentialing and state clearance.
