**Job Title: Corrections Registered Nurse • Days**
**Location:** Various locations in Texas
**Job Description:**
Join our team as a Corrections Registered Nurse, delivering vital healthcare in a correctional environment. Ideal for RNs with acute care or med•surg experience, ready for a dynamic setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide nursing care to incarcerated individuals.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for quality care.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Adapt to different units and travel within a 50•mile radius as needed.
**Qualifications:**
• Active RN license in Texas or Compact State.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years RN experience, including 1 year in acute care or med•surg.
• Experience in LTAC, ER, skilled nursing, or psych is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in challenging situations.
**Schedule:**
• Day shifts: 06:45 to 19:15.
• 36 hours per week, with potential overtime.
• 13•week assignment, with extension opportunities.
**Additional Information:**
• COVID•19 vaccination required, exemptions considered.
• Orientation provided in Texas.
