Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business & Employee Relations Partner to join our team. You will play a crucial role in driving employee relations expertise while maintaining a strategic human capital business partner mindset. Your primary focus will be on fostering positive employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing thought leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Additionally, you will support select client groups as a trusted advisor, executing on core HR lifecycle deliverables such as goal setting, talent management, succession planning, and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Partnership: o Develop a deep understanding of the business to provide strategic HR support, performance management, and foster a culture of continuous growth and development. o Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, building leadership capabilities across teams. o Address performance and employee relations issues, including but not limited to sexual harassment, ADA, FMLA, and disciplinary actions.

2. Legal Compliance and Risk Mitigation: o Oversee and manage employee relations investigations and disciplinary proceedings, including Performance Improvement Plans and warnings. o Advise management on complex employee relations issues and recommend appropriate actions. o Develop and implement policies and procedures to address employee conduct, performance concerns, and grievances.

3. Engagement: o Keep managers informed about critical employment laws and employee relations policies and practices. o Monitor employee morale and address challenges within assigned client groups.

4. Thought Leadership and Guidance: o Provide insights on human capital trends and offer strategic solutions. o Serve as a resource for employees seeking guidance on workplace concerns, fostering a culture of respect and accountability. o Create and deliver training for managers on performance management, talent development, and employee relations. o Promote and support DEI initiatives, working to create an inclusive and equitable workplace.

5. Collaboration and Analysis: o Work with colleagues across the People Experience Team to align HR strategies with business objectives. o Analyze trends and metrics, collaborate with HR experts to identify problems, develop solutions, and drive change.

Qualifications: • 10+ years of relevant HR Business Partner or Employment Law experience in a dynamic, high-intensity environment. • Thrives in a fast-paced setting, detail-oriented, and communicates effectively with internal clients. • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and drive change. • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues with discretion, empathy, and composure. • Goal-oriented with a practical approach to problem-solving and prioritization, comfortable operating in ambiguity. • Flexible, positive, open-minded, and comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback, holding people accountable at all levels.

Technology Skills: • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. • Experience with Workday is a plus.
