Sun Dial Manor is a 37-bed, not-for-profit skilled nursing home offering short and long-term care to individuals of all ages. Johnson Center at Sun Dial Manor is the Assisted Living facility offering 8 private rooms and 3 double rooms.

Department Notes:
37-bed LTC/Skilled facility that has 3 wings - East, South, and West with the nurses station centrally located. Average census is 27-30 residents for the entire facility. Charting is Point Click Care and utilize walkie talkies for communication. They utilize med carts (bubble packs) for medication distribution. Day staffing: (1) RN, (1) Med Aide, (2) CNAs and (1) Bath Aide; Night staffing: (1) RN or LPN, (2) CNA until 10:00PM. After 10:00PM, (1) RN and (1) CNA.
Misc Notes:
Minimum of 2 years experience working as an LPN in a Long Term Care setting is required. Will float to Assisted Living as needed for medication pass.
Requirements: Licensed as an LPN in the State of South Dakota or compact state and BLS issued through American Heart Association are required.
Shift: 11.5-hour shifts; 6:00AM-6:00PM or 6:00PM-6:00AM, will work every other weekend. Schedule is provided one month in advance.
Dress code: Professional scrub top and bottom must be worn at all times but may be any color. No other facility logos or names may be displayed on scrubs. Facility provided badge must be worn at chest level, not at the waist. Nails should be an appropriate length for resident care. Acrylic nails are not permitted. Piercings should be professional and not excessive. Tattoos and vibrant hair colors are permitted.
