**Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse • Night Shift**
Join our team in California as a Labor & Delivery RN for the night shift, providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns.
**Responsibilities:**
• Deliver nursing care to obstetrical patients during labor and postpartum.
• Interpret and document fetal monitor tracings.
• Provide immediate newborn care post•delivery.
• Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
• Conduct labor stage screenings in the OB Observation Area.
• Manage patient admissions and discharges.
• Educate patients and families on labor and delivery.
**Qualifications:**
• Current CA RN license with NRP, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• 1 year travel experience and 2 years in Labor & Delivery.
• Nursing degree; BSN or MSN preferred.
• RNC•OB and RNC•EFM certifications encouraged.
• 20 hours of Breastfeeding and Lactation training within 6 months.
**Working Conditions:**
• Night shifts, 3 x 12•hour schedule.
• Willingness to assist in OR deliveries.
• Weekend and holiday work required.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs.
