**Job Title: Labor & Delivery • Registered Nurse • Day Shift**
Join our team in California as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, providing essential care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
**Responsibilities:**
• Deliver comprehensive care and document accurately for obstetrical patients.
• Interpret and document fetal monitor tracings.
• Provide newborn care and educate families on labor and delivery.
• Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
• Handle patient admissions and discharges.
• Assist in the OB Observation Area.
**Qualifications:**
• Current CA RN license with NRP, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• 2+ years in Labor & Delivery; 1+ year travel nursing preferred.
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution; BSN or MSN preferred.
• RNC•OB and RNC•EFM certifications encouraged.
• 20 hours of Breastfeeding and Lactation training within 6 months of hire.
**Physical Requirements:**
• Handle stress and physical demands like walking, standing, and lifting.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs frequently.
**Schedule:**
• Day shifts, 3 x 12•hour shifts per week, starting at 7 AM.
• Flexibility to float to the OR and work weekends/holidays.
