**Job Title: Behavioral Health LVN/LPN • Mids**
Join our team in Kerrville, TX, as a Behavioral Health LVN/LPN, providing essential care in a maximum•security unit. Responsibilities include medication administration, health screenings, and staff training.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide vocational nursing care for complex medical and mental health needs.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures.
• Conduct health screenings and collect lab specimens.
• Train and guide new LVNs and direct care staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare team on patient care.
**Requirements:**
• Active Texas LPN/LVN License.
• 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a maximum•security setting.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Compliance with immunization, drug testing, and fingerprinting.
• COVID•19 vaccination required.
**Schedule:**
• 12•week assignment, 40 hours/week, 3 PM • 11 PM, alternate weekends.
• 4•week orientation, Monday to Friday, 8 AM • 5 PM.
**Additional Information:**
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• Flexibility to float as needed, focusing on maximum•security care.
