Job description

The Workday Strategic Sourcing Contractor will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing the Workday Strategic Sourcing module to streamline procurement processes and enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Workday Strategic Sourcing, coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure Workday Strategic Sourcing to align with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployment.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for sourcing and procurement processes within Workday.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of the system.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.
  • Assist with data migration, data cleansing, and data validation efforts.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Support change management initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Stay current with Workday updates, new features, and industry trends to continually improve sourcing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Workday Strategic Sourcing specialist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday Strategic Sourcing module and its capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certification in Strategic Sourcing.
  • Experience in change management and training development.
  • Familiarity with other Workday modules, such as Financial Management or Human Capital Management (HCM).
