Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of HR Technology to lead our HR technology strategy and operations. This senior leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimization of our HR systems, with a particular focus on Workday. The VP of HR Technology will work closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure our technology solutions align with our organizational goals and enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR technology strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and drives operational efficiency.
  • Workday Management: Lead the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday modules, ensuring the system meets the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of HR technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Project Management: Oversee HR technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for HR decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure all HR technology systems comply with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of data security and privacy.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring effective delivery of services and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR technology, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience with Workday is required.
  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of HR systems, specifically Workday, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the financial services industry and its unique HR and technology needs.
