Vendor Oversight Manager Contractor
POSITION SUMMARY
The Vendor Oversight Manager Contractor is responsible for developing and executing Vendor Governance Oversight process and strategies within Clinical Development Operations, considering vendor performance and business risk. The candidate will interact with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, playing a critical role in vendor oversight while ensuring compliance with applicable global regulations.

The Vendor Oversight Manager Contractor is responsible for developing and executing Vendor Governance Oversight process and strategies within Clinical Development Operations, considering vendor performance and business risk. The candidate will interact with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, playing a critical role in vendor oversight while ensuring compliance with applicable global regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- In partnership with internal stakeholders, develop a Vendor Governance Oversight program for Clinical Development Operations along with overall management of program/processes
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to measure vendor metrics and distribute to appropriate stakeholders
- Ensure vendor compliance and performance meet established standards and work with vendors and applicable internal stakeholders on mitigation activities, as applicable
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure that contractual obligations are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that vendor relationships align with business objectives
- Oversee vendor selection, due diligence oversight, and maintenance of vendor relationships
- Develop materials to evaluate vendors upon contracting and annual review
- Provide oversight on financial tracking and reconciliation activities, as applicable
- Develop and provide oversight on stakeholder satisfaction survey process
- Provide support on all aspects of vendor oversight during audit and compliance reviews

Education
- BS/BA degree or equivalent required
Experience
- STRONG preference for local candidate– the position is primarily on-site with an expectation of at least four days per week in the office
- Demonstrate ability to adapt and pivot quickly to changing priorities and business needs
- Minimum 2 years of experience biotechnology/pharmaceutical company. Experience with a start-up company a plus
- Minimum 5+ years clinical research experience including relevant vendor oversight management. Prior management experience a must
- A good understanding of the drug development process, ICH guidelines/GCP and understanding of the clinical trials process, the application of SOPs, and medical terminology
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet critical deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite or products such as Word, Excel etc.
