Job Title: Locums - Family Medicine Physician

Join our client's team in North Dakota, as a Family Medicine Physician in an urgent care clinic setting. This role is ideal for a board-certified physician in Family Medicine (ABFM) with a DEA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care in an urgent care clinic, handling cases such as flu, allergies, sports injuries, emergency cases (sutures and splints), infections, and bronchitis.
Conduct examinations with access to on-site lab and x-ray facilities; CT available off-site.
Manage a patient load of approximately 25 patients per day, with increased volume on weekends (40-50 patients).
Serve patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Schedule:

14 days on/14 days off, alternating with 7 days on/7 days off.
Weekday shifts: Monday to Friday, 11 AM - 6 PM.
Weekend shifts: 10 AM - 4 PM, with flexibility for 8-hour shifts if needed.

Requirements:

Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM) and DEA certification.
BLS certification.
Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
North Dakota licensure or IMLC license is helpful.
Clean background preferred, but minor incidents may be considered.

Support and Environment:

Work alongside a full clinic staff with 2 to 3 providers always present.
Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.

Additional Information:

Travel expenses are fully reimbursed, with potential lodging stipend.
This position is available due to a retirement, with a start date in October for a 6-month assignment.
