Position Overview:
We are looking for an ETF Trader with expertise in off-the-run strategies to manage and optimize a proprietary trading book. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ETF markets, liquidity dynamics, and the ability to identify and execute on niche opportunities. A proven track record of generating consistent risk-adjusted returns with a Sharpe ratio of 3+ and an ROC of 100%+ is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage off-the-run ETF trading strategies to generate alpha.

  • Monitor and analyze market conditions, liquidity, and pricing to identify trading opportunities.

  • Execute trades efficiently while managing risk and ensuring compliance with firm policies.

  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers to refine strategies and improve execution algorithms.

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize trading performance, ensuring alignment with firm objectives.

  • Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in the ETF space.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in ETF trading with a Sharpe ratio of 3+ and an ROC of 100%+.

  • Deep expertise in off-the-run ETF strategies and niche market opportunities.

  • Strong understanding of market microstructure, liquidity dynamics, and trading mechanics.

  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and programming (Python, R, or similar).

  • Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
