• Level III NICU
• Primary Stroke Center
• General Information:
• Number of Beds (if applicable): 492
• Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, if strong experience with the required skills.
• Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with at least 2-years experience with the required skills.
• Patient Types:
• Inpatient and outpatient, Adult and occasionally pediatrics (outpatients/ED)
• Patient Ratios:
• 1:1
• Varies - average 4 patients/hour (40 patients per day)
• Required Certifications:
• BLS required for all
• ARRT required for all
• CT Tech: ARRT-CT required; State license (preferred)
• Skills required:
• CT: Biopsy drainage, trauma, angiogram (required), stroke perfusion experience ( STRONGLY PREFERRED)
• Technology/Equipment:
• EMR: Cerner
• CT - All GE
• Floating: If yes, where?
• Yes, throughout the hospital.
• Traveler will work in the main Radiology department but in different areas of the department.
• Orientation:
• 1 - 8-hour hospital orientation, 2-3 shifts on unit. (Dayshift w/another tech)
• Scheduling:
• Holiday Expectations : One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
• Holiday Expectations : This does not mean they will automatically be scheduled for those dates, but we will not contractually guarantee to being off prior to arrival.
• Weekend rotation: Varies (typically once a month but subject to change based on departmental needs)
• On call requirement: Voluntary
