Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections • Night Shift
Join our Texas based team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a corrections environment. This night shift role requires a dynamic individual capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient care within LVN nursing practice
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and reactions, notifying relevant parties as necessary
• Respond to emergency situations following nursing standards and protocols
Requirements:
• Current Compact or Texas LVN license
• Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience
• Acute Care/Med Surg/ED experience required
• BLS and IV Therapy certifications
• COVID-19 vaccination (exemptions considered)
Additional Information:
• 13•week assignment, possible extension
• 36•hour work week, Saturday to Friday
• Overtime available based on performance
• May require floating to different units within a 10 • 30 minute drive
• Orientation in Conroe and Gatesville, Texas
