Job Description & Requirements
- Estimated Salary: $1,490/week/36 hours (includes taxable pay)
- Specialty: Corrections
- Discipline: LVN
- Start Date: 3/14/26
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36/48 hour rotation
- Shift: 12 hours, Nights, 1800-0630, 3 x 12’s, 4 x 12's
- Full Time staff will be requested to work a combination of 36 and 48 hour work weeks (12 hour shifts). This could follow a pattern of every other week, it could be 3 weeks in a row of 36 hours then a 4th week of 48 hours, or any other combination. Staff is notified 2+ weeks in advance of their next month schedule, so they will have time to plan accordingly with family and other employers
- On Call requirements: No
- Employment Type: Travel
- License: Compact or Texas LVN
- Will accept temporary license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- LVN Must have IV Therapy Cert
- Must have at least 1.5 Year Acute Care/Med Surg/ED or any other type of approved experience
- Floor nursing in LTAC or acute care are most successful
- Travelers that come from HH or hospice can succeed but is rare
- 2 years continuous experience in highest license that they hold
- LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing and/or Psych is a plus to succeed in this environment
- Nursing requirements direct from Client
- Thick skinned
- Independent
- Does not participate in internal issues and gossip
- Successful in a Fast paced environment
