Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Correctional Health • Day Shift
Join our correctional health team as a dedicated LVN. This day shift role requires 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
• Medication administration and blood draws.
• Compliance with CA State law patient ratios.
• Maintenance of certifications and licenses.
Requirements:
• Active CA LVN License.
• BLS, LA County Fire Card, Blood draw/IV certification.
• MAB/CPI Certification.
• Two years of psychiatric inpatient or correctional health experience.
• Experience in a secured environment preferred.
• Travel experience beneficial.
• COVID vaccination + booster if eligible.
Note: No cell phones/wireless devices or tobacco products allowed in the facility.
Our facility offers onsite parking and uses the Cerner EMR system, providing Juvenile Court Behavioral Services, Psych, Correctional, and Inpatient care.
Local travelers are encouraged to apply. Skills checklists must score 3.0 or higher.
