**Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse • Nights**
**Location:** Kerrville, TX
**Overview:**
Seeking a dedicated RN for a maximum•security unit in a state hospital. Provide essential care, collaborate on care programs, and perform routine nursing duties under moderate supervision.
**Responsibilities:**
• Deliver and oversee nursing care in a secure unit.
• Guide LVNs per the Nurse Practice Act.
• Communicate with healthcare teams.
• Handle documentation and reports.
• Adhere to facility policies and maintain records.
• Administer treatment for work•related injuries.
**Shift Details:**
• Night shifts: 11 PM • 7 AM
• 5 x 8•hour shifts weekly
• Every other weekend, with two consecutive days off when possible
• Work 2 of 3 major holidays
**Qualifications:**
• 2+ years RN experience, psych experience required
• Preferred: Experience in maximum•security units, charge nurse experience
• Valid RN license (TX or compact state)
• Current CPR certification
• Complete immunization and recent PPD
• COVID•19 compliance
• Pass drug screen and background checks
**Additional Info:**
• 4•week orientation, Mon•Fri, 8 AM • 5 PM
• Navy blue scrubs
• PPE and parking provided
