**Job Title: Behavioral Health • LVN/LPN • Mids**
Join our team in Carlsbad, Texas, as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Behavioral Health. Work with individuals facing dual diagnoses and behavioral challenges.
**Responsibilities:**
• Deliver nursing care for behavioral health needs.
• Administer medications and manage med passes.
• Communicate with peers, support staff, and residents.
• Adapt to various assignments and float between units.
• Complete required training and follow health regulations.
**Schedule:**
• 40 hours/week, 2 pm•10 pm shifts.
• Every third weekend off; work holidays.
• First four weeks: Monday to Friday, 8 am•5 pm.
**Qualifications:**
• Active Texas LPN/LVN License.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• 2+ years in acute care, long•term care, clinics, public health, or psychiatric settings.
• Experience with dual diagnosis preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Meet HHSC immunization, drug testing, and fingerprinting requirements.
• COVID•19 vaccination required.
**Additional Info:**
• Orientation: July 1st and July 16th.
• Minimum 6•month contract.
• Initial orientation to multiple assignments.
• Provide two work references.
