Position Overview
The company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Associate Director, IT Business Partnership to lead the selection, implementation, and operational support of General & Administrative (G&A) applications. This role ensures finance, HR, legal, procurement, and operational systems are aligned with business needs, compliant with regulations, and scalable for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own roadmap, budget, and lifecycle management of G&A applications, including finance, HR, legal, and procurement systems.

  • Lead selection and implementation of new solutions with business stakeholders and vendors.

  • Provide operational support and troubleshooting for applications and integrations.

  • Ensure SOX compliance and support audit activities.

  • Partner with business teams to maintain and enhance the application portfolio.

  • Manage vendor relationships and service delivery.

  • Supervise and mentor a small team of IT professionals or contractors.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align IT strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of IT application management experience in life sciences or related industry.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise finance systems and analytics platforms.

  • Experience with ERP, HR, procurement, and integration tools.

  • At least one full ERP/finance system implementation, including cutover from legacy systems.

  • Experience in SOX-compliant environments and audit support.

  • Strong requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Proven experience managing third-party vendors and service delivery.

  • Project management experience, including planning, execution, and communication.

  • Hands-on operational support and troubleshooting ability.

  • Prior team leadership or people management experience.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks in life sciences (e.g., GxP, HIPAA).
