Position Overview
The company is seeking a strategic and hands-on Associate Director, IT Business Partnership to lead the selection, implementation, and operational support of General & Administrative (G&A) applications. This role ensures finance, HR, legal, procurement, and operational systems are aligned with business needs, compliant with regulations, and scalable for growth.
Responsibilities

Own roadmap, budget, and lifecycle management of G&A applications, including finance, HR, legal, and procurement systems.

Lead selection and implementation of new solutions with business stakeholders and vendors.

Provide operational support and troubleshooting for applications and integrations.

Ensure SOX compliance and support audit activities.

Partner with business teams to maintain and enhance the application portfolio.

Manage vendor relationships and service delivery.

Supervise and mentor a small team of IT professionals or contractors.

Collaborate cross-functionally to align IT strategy with business goals.
Qualifications

8+ years of IT application management experience in life sciences or related industry.

Strong knowledge of enterprise finance systems and analytics platforms.

Experience with ERP, HR, procurement, and integration tools.

At least one full ERP/finance system implementation, including cutover from legacy systems.

Experience in SOX-compliant environments and audit support.

Strong requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder communication skills.

Proven experience managing third-party vendors and service delivery.

Project management experience, including planning, execution, and communication.

Hands-on operational support and troubleshooting ability.

Prior team leadership or people management experience.

Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks in life sciences (e.g., GxP, HIPAA).
