JOB DESCRIPTION

Description:

 

The Director, Medical Information will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, and executing on Medical Information deliverables. Reporting to the Head of Medical Communications, this individual will work cross-functionally with key partners, oversee contact center vendor and will be accountable for providing accurate, balanced and timely response to unsolicited inquiries relating to Wave’s programs and products.

 

Experience:

 

  • Advanced degree, doctorate level (PharmD, M.D., or Ph.D.) required
  • 10 years of relevant professional experience within biotech or industry
  • Demonstrated experience with Medical Information communication and management
  • Knowledge of regulatory global regulatory guidelines
  • Skilled in scientific communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution
  • Experience with promotional and non-promotional content

 

Responsibilities:

 

May include some or all of the following:

·       Lead development of medical information strategy and response resources

·       Planning and maintaining high quality medical information documents (FAQs and other standard documents), ensuring timely review, approval and implementation

·       Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements

·       Develop SOPs to support and standardize medical information processes

·       Lead and manage contact center vendor, with potential to identify, onboard, and train new vendors as needed

·       Manages escalated responses to non-standard medical inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant responses
