Job Title: First Assistant • OR
Our client is seeking a dedicated First Assistant to primarily work in the Operating Room (OR) and occasionally assist in the Birthing Inn. This position is based in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
The schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in surgery from 10am•6:30pm, with Wednesday dedicated to OB.
On•call requirements for the Birthing Inn include weekday hours from 2300•0700 and 24•hour weekend shifts from 0700•0700.
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Required License: WI License or compact
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Ability to perform a Cesarean Section
• Experience in Robotics (strongly preferred, as this comprises 90% of all cases)
• Proficiency in ortho, total joint, sports medicine, spine
• Familiarity with 9 specialties including eyes, plastics, urology, gyn, general, ortho, podiatry, neurosurgery, ENT, robotics
Covid Vaccine Requirements: Religious and Medical Exemptions accepted
Assignment Details:
• Clinical screen and 3 references required for submission
• All clinicians must complete a specific video interview prior to being submitted. Please note that all video interviews are viewed by the VP of the hospital. Candidates must dress professionally, with no facial piercings, no visible tattoos, and preferably no non•natural colored hair.
