Job Title: Cardiovascular Surgical ICU • Registered Nurse • Rotating Shift
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their Cardiovascular Surgical ICU team.
Key Qualifications:
• Must have current experience in Cardiac Open•Heart preparation and recovery.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with recovery of post•op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting is necessary.
• RN license, ACLS, Critical Care Certification, trauma course, and EPIC are preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience post orientation, with at least one travel assignment preferred. Candidates with extensive experience but no travel history may still be considered.
Required Experience:
• Ventilator management
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Swan•Ganz catheterization
• Management of epicardial wires/pacemakers
• Titration of vasoactive gtts
• Level 1 Intra•Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
Our client offers a flexible schedule with the possibility of 48 hours per week, depending on experience. Overtime is calculated after 80 hours in a 2•week pay period, or after 96 hours for those on a 48/week assignment, at 1.25 times the base rate.
