Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Workday Integrations Architect to support our client’s Workday initiatives. This individual will design, develop, and support enterprise Workday integrations across both the HCM and Financials platforms while partnering with HR, Finance, IT, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable integration solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations supporting both HCM and Financials.
  • Build and support inbound and outbound integrations across enterprise platforms.
  • Develop integration solutions using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Orchestrate, and Workday APIs.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration, transformation, and data delivery issues while ensuring data integrity across downstream systems.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support compliance-related integration initiatives, including Payroll, Benefits, Retirement, and Financial processes.
  • Participate in regression testing, release validation, and ongoing system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology teams, implementation partners, and third-party vendors within an Agile environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Workday integration landscape.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Workday Integration development experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing Workday HCM and Financials integrations.
  • Experience with Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Orchestrate, and Workday APIs.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level Workday environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or large organizational transformations.
  • Experience integrating middleware or enterprise data warehouse solutions.
  • Familiarity with secure data handling and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Experience supporting Payroll, Benefits, Retirement, or Financial compliance initiatives.
