Workday Adaptive Planning Systems Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Systems Manager to support our client, a leading financial services firm based in New York City. This individual will partner with finance, business, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable Adaptive Planning solutions while helping the organization maximize the value of its Workday investment.

Whether supporting new implementations, optimization projects, or long-term system enhancements, you’ll play a key role in delivering successful planning, budgeting, and forecasting outcomes. This is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site presence at the client’s NYC office.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and support Workday Adaptive Planning solutions to meet the financial planning and analysis needs of the business.
• Partner with FP&A, finance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend scalable planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions.
• Manage and enhance planning models, including revenue, expense, headcount, and capital planning, tailored to a financial services environment.
• Analyze existing planning and forecasting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cycle times through system enhancements.
• Oversee system testing, configuration validation, integrations, and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing production support to finance users.
• Maintain system documentation, reporting, and dashboards while promoting Adaptive Planning best practices across the organization.
