Unit: Surgical Services – Operating Room

Position you need filled: Certified Surgical First Assist - CSFA

Openings:   1 

Years' experience required: 4 years or more. - Willing to act as scrub tech as needed. 

Start date: ASAP

Certifications required for this position:

• CSFA - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• American Heart Association BLS certification required

 

Equipment they will be expected to use if different from normal position standards: Epic EMR platform, standard OR equipment will get orientation to items

Length of contract: 13 weeks initial

How long are shifts (any flexibility): 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM + On Call

Shift Hours: 8

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Do they need to work Every Other Weekend (EOW): 1 weekend on call roughly and 1 day of call each week

Will they float to any other departments, if so which ones: N/A

On Call: yes- rotation
