Sophia has always felt that working in healthcare is her calling. With experience as a CNA and medical assistant and aspirations of becoming a physician, she values building strong relationships with patients and delivering compassionate care. As a recruiter, Sophia is motivated by the opportunity to support nurses and healthcare professionals as they begin new journeys to make a meaningful impact on patient care. A passionate traveler and language enthusiast, she is fluent in Portuguese and continually improving her Spanish, which allows her to connect with diverse communities and understand different cultures.
When it comes to travel dreams, Sophia hopes to explore culturally rich locations like Seattle—and maybe live out a little Grey’s Anatomy fantasy at Grey Sloan Memorial. She is guided by Picasso’s wisdom: “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” Her bucket list reflects her sense of adventure and purpose, including visiting at least five of the Seven Wonders of the World and joining Doctors Without Borders to make a global impact.
