GQR Vice President Bryan Blair Named to the Talent 100, Class of 2026

GQR is proud to celebrate Bryan Blair on being named to the Talent 100, Class of 2026—an annual recognition honoring 100 exceptional leaders and practitioners shaping the future of talent acquisition.

Selected from thousands of nominations and candidates across the industry, Talent 100 honorees are recognized for the impact of their work, depth of their craft, and influence on the future of recruiting.

For Bryan, the recognition comes just six years after an unexpected start to his career in talent.

From an Unexpected Start to Life Sciences Leadership

Bryan graduated from college in May 2020, just days after the company he planned to join closed its doors. He moved to New York City in the midst of the pandemic and, within days, found an opportunity in Life Sciences recruiting.

He quickly realized he had found the career he wanted to pursue.

Today, Bryan leads executive and contract search across clinical functions within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, specializing in drug safety and pharmacovigilance, clinical operations, clinical development and medical leadership, biostatistics, statistical programming, and clinical data management.

The results speak to the strength of the relationships he has built along the way. Since 2020, Bryan has extended 262 offers, with 217 accepted—an 83% offer acceptance rate.

Combining Recruiting Expertise with AI

Bryan’s influence also extends beyond traditional recruiting.

An early adopter of artificial intelligence, he continues to explore how emerging technology can make recruiters—and knowledge workers more broadly—more effective without losing the human expertise at the center of the work.

As the Talent 100 profile puts it, Bryan has become something of an “AI engineer who recruits, not a recruiter who uses AI.”

That combination of deep specialization, curiosity, technology, and a relentless focus on delivery represents the kind of talent leadership we strive to bring to our clients every day at GQR.

Leadership That Builds Leadership

Bryan is also quick to recognize the people who have shaped his career.

In his Talent 100 profile, he highlights Nicole Leinders, Division Head of Life Sciences at GQR, as one of those leaders, crediting her with teaching him what executive presence and building a high-performing team truly look like.

That sense of team has become an important part of Bryan’s own GQR experience. Beyond the searches, placements, and results, he points to the relationships built while working alongside colleagues who have become genuine friends as one of the reasons recruiting continues to be a career he loves.

Helping Shape What Comes Next

The Talent 100 celebrates people helping shape the future of how organizations hire. Bryan’s recognition reflects not only what he has accomplished so far, but also the approach he continues to bring to the industry: specialist expertise, strong relationships, measurable results, and a willingness to rethink how recruiting can be done better.

We’re incredibly proud to have Bryan on the GQR team and excited to see what comes next.

Congratulations, Bryan, on being named to the Talent 100, Class of 2026.
