**Job Title: Correctional Health * Registered Nurse * Days (0600*1430)**
Join our team in Downey, CA, as a Registered Nurse in Correctional Health for a 16*week contract. Work day shifts from 0600*1430, 5 days a week, with alternating weekends.
**Responsibilities:**
* Deliver nursing care per CA State Law.
* Conduct blood draws and administer medications.
* Operate independently, making swift clinical decisions.
**Qualifications:**
* Active CA RN License.
* 2+ years in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health, Med*Surg, Correctional Health, or ER.
* Skilled in blood draws and medication administration.
* BLS, MAB/CPI, and Fire Card certifications.
* COVID vaccination and booster required.
**Preferred:**
* Travel experience.
* Local candidates welcome.
**Details:**
* No on*call duties.
* Up to 3 days RTO (none preferred).
* PPE provided; scrubs in Navy Blue or Black.
* EMR: Cerner.
