Correctional Health – RN – Evenings

**Job Title: Correctional Health * RN * Evenings**

**Location:** Commerce, CA
**Start Date:** ASAP

**Contract:**
* 16 weeks, 40 hours/week
* 5 evening shifts/week, including weekends and holidays

**Requirements:**
* Active CA RN License
* AHA BLS, MAB/CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card
* LA County Employee Health Clearance
* COVID vaccination + booster

**Experience:**
* 1+ year as a Correctional RN in juvenile detention
* Correctional health or psychiatric experience
* Blood draw skills
* Travel experience a plus

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide nursing care for adolescents
* Conduct health screenings, administer meds
* Respond to emergencies, coordinate care
* Maintain health records

**Additional Info:**
* Patient ratios per CA law
* No on*call, max 3 days RTO
* Scrubs: Any color, Navy/Black preferred
* PPE and parking provided
* EMR: Cerner
