**Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse * Days**
Join our team in Corpus Christi, TX, as a Behavioral Health RN, providing care for individuals with behavioral, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct nursing assessments and manage patient care.
* Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation.
* Supervise staff and interact effectively with patients and team members.
* Maintain records and apply emergency procedures, including CPR.
* Implement Safe Use of Restraint (SUR) protocols.
**Schedule:**
* 24*week assignment, 40 hours/week
* Day shifts: 6 am * 2 pm, with potential 16*hour shifts
* Every other weekend off
**Requirements:**
* Active Texas RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact state.
* Current CPR certification.
* At least 1 year of nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
* Experience in mental health and developmental disabilities preferred.
* Two references from different workplaces.
**Additional Info:**
* Includes 2 weeks of education and 2 weeks of on*the*job training.
* May float to different units as needed.
* COVID*19 vaccination required.
