**Job Title: PCU/Stepdown * Registered Nurse * Days**
Join our team in Sylmar, California, as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown. Deliver exceptional care in a dynamic environment.
**Position Details:**
* **Shift:** Days, 36 hours/week, 8*week duration
* **Patient Ratios:** Compliant with CA State Law
* **Certifications:** AHA ACLS/BLS, MAB or CPI, NIHSS, LA City Fire Card, Life Safety card (LA City)
* **License:** Active CA RN License
* **COVID Requirement:** Vaccinated and boosted
**Experience / Responsibilities:**
* 1+ year recent PCU experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
* Provide intermediate care for post*surgery and serious condition patients
* Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and respond to condition changes
* Administer medications, IVs, and perform wound care
* Travel experience preferred; local travelers welcome
