MedSurg – Registered Nurse – Days – PRN

**Job Title: MedSurg * Registered Nurse * Days * PRN**

**Location:** Los Angeles, CA
**Shift:** Days
**Commitment:** PRN, 24 hours/week

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide care for adult medical and surgical patients
* Deliver pre* and post*operative care
* Manage acute and chronic conditions
* Conduct patient assessments and administer treatments
* Educate patients and families
* Collaborate with healthcare teams

**Qualifications:**
* Active CA RN License
* AHA BLS, NIHSS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire Card, Life Safety card
* 1+ year acute care experience in Level 1 Trauma Center
* Experience in diverse metropolitan settings
* Completion of LA County Employee Health Clearance before start
* COVID vaccination and booster if eligible

**Additional Details:**
* Adhere to CA patient ratio laws
* Floating required, no on*call
* Travel experience preferred, local travelers welcome

**Work Environment:**
* Fast*paced, high*acuity Level 1 Trauma Center
* Teaching facility with Cerner EMR
