Job Title: Locums – OB/GYN Physician

Location: Worthington, MN
 

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Locums OB/GYN Physician to join their team in Worthington, MN. This position is available from August through December to cover for a staff member on medical leave. The ideal candidate must be experienced in performing C-sections. Family Practice physicians with OB experience are also encouraged to apply.
 

Schedule:

• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Call Requirements: Some weeknight calls from 5pm to 7am and a few 24-hour weekend calls from 8am to 8pm
   

Open Coverage Dates:

• September 19-20
• October 31-November 1
• December 24-27 (Christmas)
   

Responsibilities:

• Manage a patient volume of 12-15 per day, focusing on both GYN (60%) and OB (40%) cases
• Conduct yearly exams, PAPS, prenatal and pre-surgical exams, STD screenings, and birth control consultations
• Collaborate with support staff, including a midwife and Advanced Practice Providers
   

Requirements:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN or Family Practice with an OB/GYN focus
• Must hold a DEA license
• Experience in performing C-sections
• Familiarity with Epic EMR is preferred
   

Additional Information:

• Credentialing timeline is approximately 60 days
• Open to candidates who require licensing through IMLC
