Director, Clinical Data Management 
18-Month Contract

A growing biotechnology organization is seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Data Management to provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical development programs. This individual will oversee data management activities throughout the clinical trial lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, reliable data delivery in support of study and regulatory objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee clinical data management activities across multiple studies and development programs.
• Drive data quality, compliance, and operational excellence from study start-up through database lock.
• Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Programming, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and external vendors.
• Manage CROs and data management vendors to ensure timelines, quality expectations, and deliverables are met.
• Contribute to process improvements, SOP development, and implementation of industry best practices.
• Support resource planning, team leadership, and mentorship within the data management function.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to clinical data and study execution.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in clinical data management within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, GCP, FDA/ICH regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience managing external vendors and leading cross-functional collaborations.
• Proven leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with EDC systems and clinical data management technologies.
