Position Summary

A growing life sciences organization is seeking an experienced Senior Database Programmer to support clinical data management and database development activities for ongoing clinical studies. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, configure, test, and maintain clinical trial databases while helping ensure efficient data collection and study execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with data management and study teams to understand study requirements and support database development activities.
• Configure and maintain electronic data capture (EDC) systems and related study components.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of clinical databases.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and issue resolution activities.
• Contribute to study startup, implementation, and ongoing system support efforts.
• Provide guidance on clinical data management processes, industry best practices, and system capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support study integrations and operational needs.
• Identify potential risks and support compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clinical trial databases and data management activities within the life sciences industry.
• Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) platforms and clinical data workflows.
• Understanding of clinical research processes, database design, data collection, and quality management practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and clinical data management best practices is preferred.
• Experience working with clinical technology integrations and related systems is a plus.
