- Job descriptionDocument Control Manager Remote Records & Access Management Support the development and maintenance of records management policies, procedures, and best practices Help design and implement processes, tools, and systems for effective lifecycle management of records Manage day-to-day administration of quality and GxP records Conduct inventories to catalog, classify, and organize records to ensure efficient access and retrieval Perform internal audits to confirm compliance with records and information governance standards Partner with regulated and non-regulated teams to define business needs and establish “source of truth” repositories by record type Support the development of secure and compliant processes for external information exchange and collaboration Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to strengthen record control and accessibility Manage archive vendors and oversee off-site and on-site archival services Oversee the archival and indexing of study and project records Computerized Systems Management Assist in the development, validation, implementation, and ongoing management of GxP-regulated computerized systems (e.g., eQMS, eTMF, LMS, document management, and eSignature platforms) Serve as system administrator for regulated and non-regulated computerized systems Develop and maintain system-related SOPs, work instructions, and governance documentation Onboarding & Training Support and administer company onboarding and training programs Develop and manage training curricula and learning plans Support job description development and maintenance, including associated resume and competency records Monitor and report on training compliance and completion metrics Vendor Oversight Support vendor pre-qualification and risk assessment activities Assist in audit preparation and participate in vendor qualification audits Education, Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Library Science, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) 1–3 years of experience in records management or information governance preferred; experience in a regulated pharmaceutical/biotech environment strongly preferred Equivalent experience (5+ years) in regulated data, records, or quality management may substitute for degree Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to operate professionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
