Job Title: Medical Assistant • Day Shift
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant with Family Practice experience to join their team. This role requires a professional who is comfortable working in a fast•paced environment and providing top•notch care to patients of all ages, from birth to elderly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Rooming patients
• Taking vital signs
• Utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Phlebotomy (not required but preferred)
Requirements:
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Proficiency in vital signs including manual BP
• Some clinics require phlebotomy skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable with handling higher volumes
Additional Information:
• This is a 13•week assignment with a day shift schedule (5*8, 8A•4:30P).
• No on•call duties are required.
• The successful candidate may be required to float within the clinic.
• The EMR system used is EPIC.
• Covid Vaccine Requirements: Medical & Religious exemptions accepted.
