Job description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to fill an immediate need. This role is due to FMLA, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be expected to work 40 hours per week, with varying hours across weekdays.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on adult geriatric care.
- Managing a patient volume of approximately 2 patients per hour, primarily scheduled appointments.
- Handling a variety of cases, including common illnesses such as cold, cough, and flu. Some procedures may be available but are not required.
Required Certifications:
- BLS, PALS, DEA, PA License
- COVID vaccine, Flu vaccine
The ideal candidate will be comfortable using the AthenaONE EMR system. While Spanish speaking skills are preferred, they are not required as our client's location has bilingual RNs and translation services available.
