Position Summary: CRNA - CV

Start Date: 03/01/2025 or Sooner
Orientation: Paid orientation (4-5 days required)
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage Needed: Full-time preferred; minimum of two weeks per month required

Call Requirements:

12-hour beeper call available on some Saturdays (not required)
8-hour weeknight call
Occasional overnight shifts available (not required)

Shift Details:

Shift lengths: 8, 10, 12, and 16 hours
Possible schedules:
6:30 AM - 3 PM
6:30 AM - 5 PM
6:30 AM - 7 PM
6:30 AM - 8 PM

Work Environment:

Care Team Model: 3:1 support staff with a 24-hour Anesthesia Aid Department for room turnover and supply management
Patient population: Ages 12 and up
Facility: Tertiary hospital
EMR system: Epic

Special Procedures:

Heart transplants, ECMO, high acuity vascular procedures, structural hearts, and high complexity specialized non-invasive cases
Lung cases considered part of general CRNA responsibilities (not including transplants)

Practice Setting:

Hospital (Tertiary facility)

Requirements:

Licensed Registered Nurse (MN Board of Nursing)
Registered Nurse Anesthetist (MN Board of Nursing)
ACLS/BLS Tier 2 - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Multisource)
Minimum of 1 year of experience

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

Additional Notes: Candidates should provide a list of procedures they are not comfortable performing upon submission. Overtime (OT) begins after the scheduled shift.
