Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections, Day Shift
We're looking for a flexible, experienced LVN to join our corrections team. This role involves working in various locations within a specific area.
Contract: 13 weeks initially, with potential for extension.
Shift: Day shift, 0545•1815
Weekly Hours: 36
Overtime: Available, capped at 60 hours total or 20 hours OT.
Float Requirements: You may be required to float to different units within a 30•minute radius. Refusal may result in a DNR status.
Certifications: BLS, IV Therapy
License: Compact or Texas LVN
Experience: 1.5 years minimum in Acute Care/Med Surg/ED or similar. Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, and/or Psych is a plus.
Ideal Candidate: Resilient, independent, avoids internal issues, thrives in fast•paced environments.
COVID Vaccine: Required, exemptions considered.
