Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Mid Shifts)
We're seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Waco, Texas. The role involves providing quality care to individuals with emotional or behavioral difficulties, communicating with healthcare professionals, and supervising nursing staff.
Requirements include an active Texas Registered Nurse license, 2+ years of direct care nursing experience, 1+ year of experience in a facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities, proficiency in medication administration, and AHA BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include psychiatric setting experience and familiarity with Treatment Intervention and Preventive Strategies (TIPS).
The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm • 10:30 pm or Tuesday to Friday, 12:00 pm • 10:30 pm. Orientation, potential job extension, time off requests, and COVID•19 vaccination are part of the job package. No specific scrub color or style is required.
