Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse - Days
Join our team in Austin, Texas, as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse. This role involves providing psychiatric services to diverse patient groups and preparing them for community-based healing.
Responsibilities:
• Stabilize acute psychiatric illnesses
• Prepare patients for community reintegration
Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health
• State license or Nurse Licensure Compact reciprocity
• Complete immunization record
• AHA CPR certification and Heimlich proficiency
• Ability to pass required training, fingerprinting, drug screening, and background checks
Work Schedule:
• Weekend shifts (16 hours), with optional weekday shift
• Full-time and part-time available
Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks
Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Time off requests of less than 5 consecutive days are preferred. Avoid holiday time off requests.
