- Job description**Job Title: Labor & Delivery • Registered Nurse • Days**We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for day shifts in the Labor and Delivery unit. Join a supportive team dedicated to exceptional patient care.**Responsibilities:**• Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.• Interpret and document fetal monitor tracings.• Care for low to high•risk obstetrical patients and newborns.• Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.• Conduct labor stage screenings in the OB Observation Area.• Handle patient admissions and discharges.• Educate patients and families on labor and delivery.**Qualifications:**• 1 year travel RN and 2 years Labor & Delivery experience.• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications, and CA RN license.• Willingness to float to OR and work weekends/holidays.• Nursing degree from an accredited school; BSN or MSN preferred.• 20 hours of Breastfeeding and Lactation training within 6 months of hire.• RNC•OB and RNC•EFM certifications encouraged.• STABLE and ACLS certifications encouraged.**Physical Requirements:**• Ability to work under stressful conditions.• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.• Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs; assist in patient transfers.Join us and make a difference in patients' lives.
