- Job description**Job Title: Behavioral Health • LVN/LPN • Days****Location:** Corpus Christi, TX**Job Description:**We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a behavioral health team, providing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.**Key Responsibilities:**• Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation.• Perform data entry; training provided.• Provide care under RN supervision, following policies and procedures.• Participate in a 6•week orientation with nursing training.• Collaborate with healthcare teams and patients.**Schedule:**• Minimum 24•week contract• 40 hours/week, 6:00 am • 2:30 pm• Day shifts, 5 x 8•hour shifts• Rotational weekends, every 3rd weekend off**Qualifications:**• Active Texas LVN/LPN License• 1+ year of nursing experience; 2+ years preferred• Proficient in advanced nursing skills• Strong communication skills• Current CPR certification• Background check and drug screening required**Additional Information:**• Nurses may float between units as needed.• Maintain patient ratios for quality care.• Provide valid ID, TB documentation, and COVID•19 test results.Join our team and make a difference in behavioral health care.
